Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure where a sclerosant is injected directly into the unwanted varicose and spider veins to eliminate them. Tiny 30 gauge needles (same size as those used by diabetic patients to inject themselves with insulin multiple times daily) are used to deliver the sclerosant into these small veins. One of the most effective and safest sclerosants available in medicine today is Polydocanol which is used almost exclusively by Dr. Vu.
