After receiving his B.A. in Biology at Baylor University, he went on to recieve his Medical Doctor (MD) degree from The University of Texas at Houston Medical School. Dr. Vu went through three years of residency training in Family Medicine at Conroe Regional Medical Center. He has taken care of patients from all age groups and from all walks of life including having taken care of pregnant women, delivered more than 60 babies, treated common medical conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and comforted many cancer, end-stage and dying patients.

Dr. Vu's Medical Aesthetics training include those from residency training, training directly under the 3 world's most renowned Meso-Lipotherapy physicians, Dr. Patricia Rittes (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Dr. Roman A. Chubaty (Canada), and Dr. Jacques Le Coz (France) and other additional training from some of the top experts in the field including Leslie Ledbetter MD (The Woodlands, TX), Paul A. Fox MD (Scottsdale, AZ), Richard Bragg MD (Lake Mary, FL), and Lorenzo Kunze ME (Principal of Rocky Mountain Laser College, CO).

Dr. Vu has been providing individualized patient care, performing and overseeing numerous laser tattoo removal procedures at LoneStar Laser Clinic in Austin, TX.

Dr. Vu was born April 14, 1975 in VietNam - 16 days before the war ended and was separated from his father the first fourteen years of his life. he came to the United States with his mother and four older brothers and met his father for the first time in 1989. Dr. Vu is married and became a proud father on August 17, 2004. His Family Medial Clinic is named after his son - Alexander.
